3. Machino Donuts

MACHINO Donuts are amazing, and this place is an absolute gem in the city. Ube and Apple Fritter are among my favorites, as well as the Tiramisu.

The donuts are better than Bloomer’s, which are already very good. You can taste the quality of the dough and some nice crunchiness, especially if you get them earlier in the day for maximum freshness!

Tsuchi Cafe

Tsuchi Café is one of the best cafés and patisseries in Toronto.Delicious plant-based Japanese food in a tiny but cute cafe! Rotating seasonal dishes and cozy interior. Food and drink were quick to be served and service was friendly.

A large variety of delicious, vegan, freshly made dishes and baked goods in a super friendly and cozy environment. The place itself doesn’t have many indoor seating spots, so be ready for a possibility of takeout. The desserts are to die for.

5.bloomer's Bloor

I like bloomer’s. I believe everything on the menu, or at least most, are vegan or gluten free, etc. I don’t really know about all that because I don’t normally like vegan alternative treats. The carrot cake loaf is good though. The coffee is decent.

The real appeal to me is that this place is open until 8 pm, unlike most similar shops. The booths are comfortable and it is a good place to come and get some work done. The employees are friendly, the atmosphere is chill. I like coming here.

6.Cupcake Paradise

Cupcake Paradise

Awesome cupcakes ! worth every penny. not only tasty but I no artificial ingredients. All natural colours from fruits and nature. I’m so happy to have found a good dessert place that cares about what ingredients they use. I highly recommend this place for those conscious about what they put into their bodies and the bodies of their kids. I met the couple yesterday and both are lovely people with a heart for what they do and both are health conscious and have high standards for the desserts they produce.

7. Dough Bakeshop

This is one of the BEST places in the Danforth or Toronto for pastries and pies and other treats. Their carrot cake muffins are moist and the icing is on point, their croissants are flaky and buttery. The scones- oh the scones, the cheddar ones are an extra special treat. The cakes are really nice and I also enjoy the special seasonal ones and the pastries they make for special occasions and they do really nice salted Carmel chocolate cookies. Oh- their breakfast sandwiches are Amazing and totally worth the wait and price. I shake my head when people complain about the prices or increases, imagine the costs these owners have and the costs going up with their supply as well.

Bad Attitude is the most amazing plant based bakery I’ve ever visited. The pastries are fluffy, perfectly baked, and featuring the most delicious toppings/flavours. I got one savoury bun and two sweet buns – all SO amazing in their own ways. The cheddar bay scone though…..literally would eat this every day of my life if I could.
